About the game
Lantara: A Republic Rises is an anime-painted city and society builder for iPhone and iPad. You lead a small, broke, newly independent island with no land, no water and no army, and you have forty years to make it a First World nation. Build homes, dams, a metro and a deep-water port on a living isometric map. Hold four communities together through typhoons, riots, oil shocks and elections. Face a council of five ministers who each back a different answer, and watch four families live with every choice you make.
Lantara and everything in it, its nations, peoples, parties and history, is fictional.
